This policy explains what personal information Automate Headaches ("we", "us") collects through automateheadaches.com, why we collect it and what choices you have.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your name, company, email address and phone number;
- your trade, approximate annual revenue, service area and main local competitors;
- anything you write about your business or what you'd like to improve;
- which plan you're interested in, whether you asked for a free Google audit, or agreed to receive text messages.
If you book a call through our scheduling page, the booking provider collects the details you enter there and shares them with us. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to operate and secure the website.
We use the Meta Pixel, an advertising tool from Meta Platforms, to measure visits to this website and the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads, and to show our ads to people who have visited. It uses cookies and similar technology to record page views and when a form is submitted. We do not send Meta your name, email, phone number or the contents of any form. You can opt out of ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block cookies in your browser. The website also stores your light or dark mode choice in your browser; this never leaves your device.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry, prepare your free Google audit and arrange your onboarding call;
- to understand your business so we can give a useful recommendation or proposal;
- to keep records of our conversations with prospective and current clients;
- to protect the website against spam and abuse.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your permission. The names of competitors you share are used only to make sure we don't take them on as clients in your area.
Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages, we'll text you only about your enquiry, audit and onboarding. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of working with us.
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Services that process your information
We rely on a small number of providers to run our business. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores enquiry form submissions. We may also use a scheduling tool for bookings, an email provider for correspondence, a messaging provider for texts, and a CRM to keep track of enquiries. These providers process information on our behalf and only for these purposes. Some may store data outside your country.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for up to two years after our last contact unless you become a client, in which case project records are kept as long as needed for the engagement and for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email hello@automateheadaches.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Client data in automation projects
When we build systems for clients, we handle any data inside those systems according to our written agreement with the client. We use the minimum access needed, store credentials in secure connection settings rather than shared documents, and remove access when the engagement ends.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
